You receive a lightly marked-up script and six pages of notes covering what's working, what isn't, and what needs to change. Plus a one-hour Zoom to walk through the findings. You leave with a clear diagnosis and direction - ready to revise on your own terms.
Story Development Editing - The work you do before Final Draft
Short synopsis/outline edit — $550. Book.
Treatment edit (up to 40 pages) — $650. Book.
Extended outline/long synopsis — $850. Book.
I get into your outlines, treatments, and synopses - diagnosing story problems and mapping a clear path forward so that when you do sit down to write, you're not flying blind. You receive a fully marked-up document, six pages of edit notes, and a two-hour collaborative Zoom where I work through it all with you - writer to writer. I'll brainstorm solutions, test approaches, and make sure you know exactly where you're going before you start typing.
Script Editing - This time, we fix it together
Edit notes + one Zoom - $1,200 (I write up what needs to change, you implement it). Book.
Full rewrite within the script + two Zooms - $2,200 (I make the changes, you come away with a working draft). Book.
You've got pages, now let's make them great. We kick off with a one-hour Zoom so I can get inside your vision before I touch a single word. Then I get into the script - scene craft, dialogue, structure, and all the stuff that's almost working but not quite yet. You receive a fully edited script in Final Draft, an industry-standard cover page, and a one-hour follow-up Zoom to walk through everything together.
Story Brainstorming Workshops - When you need a second writerly brain on your story
2-hour workshop — $220. Book.
Half-day workshop — $650. Book.
Full-day workshop — $900. Book.

You're stuck and you need a fresh brain in the room. We get on a call (or meet in person) and throw ideas around: I'll ask the questions you haven't thought to ask, pitch alternatives you haven't considered, and help you find your way back into the story. You bring the story. I bring twenty-plus years of knowing how to fix it.
Formatting & Polishing - The last step before you hit send
Script formatting & polish — $180. Book.
Your story is solid, let's make sure it looks the part. I'll go through your script, fixing scene headings, action lines, and dialogue spacing, plus any screenplay-specific formatting like phone conversations, flashbacks, and camera directions, so it hits the page exactly the way the industry expects. You receive a polished script in Final Draft, plus a nicely designed cover page ready to send.
Verbal Pitch Support - Nail the room
Single pitch session (60 mins) - $150. Book.
Two-session package - $280. Book.
You've written the script. You wish that was the end of it. Pitching is a completely different skill to writing, and you're somehow expected to walk into a room with a producer and be charming, concise and compelling, all while your mouth goes dry and you forget the name of your own protagonist.
I'll listen to your pitch, tell you what to cut, what to lean into, and run you through it until it feels like a conversation rather than a hostage situation. Single session: one 60-minute Zoom. Two-session package: two Zooms, so you can go away, incorporate the notes, and come back before the big day.
Logline Rewrite
Email me your logline and I'll rewrite it. $40. No Zoom, no fuss. Just a sharper version of the most important sentence you'll ever write about your project, back in your inbox. Book.
Pitch Deck Editing & Design - You send it, I rewrite it
Under 10 pages - $330. Book.
Up to 20 pages - $500. Book.

The story breakdowns, character descriptions, and "why this, why now" text need to do serious heavy lifting. We'll kick off with a quick chat about what you're trying to achieve, then I'll get into the document - editing the text and rearranging pages where needed until the whole thing lands the way it should. Design is a separate service if you need it.

Twenty-plus years in the industry means I've made most of the mistakes already. These sessions are for writers who aren't sure what to do next, whether that's why no one is responding to your emails, how to get in a room without an agent, what to actually say once you're in one, or why your career feels like it's moving and standing still at the same time. Every session is different because every writer is different.
