Develop Your Story

This is where your idea stops loitering in your notes app and starts becoming something real. I’ll help shape your concept into a strong, well-built story - tightening structure, sharpening characters, and finding the heartbeat. By the end, you’ll have a story that knows where it’s going. Promise.

Story Development Editing

Girl writes on floor.jpeg

No matter what stage - a synopsis, outline or treatment - I'll shape the story’s structure, pacing, tone, and character arcs to make sure it all holds together (and actually makes sense). Think of it as an architectural check before you start decorating - or rewriting. By the end, you’ll have a clear, confident foundation to build your next draft on. Choose from Synopsis, Outline, Extended Outline or Treatment.  VIEW RATES.

Story Assessments

You’ve written something - a treatment or maybe even a whole draft - but you can’t tell if it’s brilliant or broken. (Welcome to writing.) I’ll read your work with fresh eyes and give clear, practical notes on what’s landing, what’s wobbly, and what to tackle next. Think of it as a creative tune-up before you throw yourself into the next rewrite.  VIEW RATES.

Story Brainstorming Workshops

Group workshop.jpeg

Got ideas tumbling around but not sure how they fit together? This is where we wrangle them into something that actually makes sense - and sparks excitement again. We’ll brainstorm, build character arcs, map your story structure, and find what’s missing. It’s collaborative, energising, and often the thing that unsticks a story. Available on Zoom, in person, or anywhere there’s caffeine and Wi-Fi.  VIEW RATES.

Refine Your Draft

You’ve written the thing (congrats). This stage is all about tightening, polishing, and elevating your story so it reads like the version you imagined in your head. We’ll work through structure, dialogue, pacing, and flow - the satisfying kind of edit that turns “nearly there” into “nailed it.”

Script Editing

Girl smiling at laptop.jpeg

For when the bones of the story need some reshaping. We’ll look at how each part connects - structure, pacing, dialogue, character arcs - to make sure your story builds tension and lands emotionally. It’s big-picture surgery, not cosmetic tweaks.

Edit notes + one Zoom (I write up what needs to change, you implement it) OR choose a Full rewrite within the script + two Zooms (I make the changes, you come away with a working draft)

Script Assessments

A full story check-up for when you’re too close to the work to see it clearly. I’ll read your project - whether it’s a synopsis, outline, treatment or full draft - and create a detailed written report that digs into plot, character, pacing, structure, dialogue, and theme. You’ll get clear, practical notes that show what’s working beautifully, what’s drifting, and where to focus next. It’s deep, thoughtful feedback designed to give you direction and confidence before the next round of writing.  VIEW RATES.

Ghostwriting (Select Projects)

For clients who want their story told but don’t have the time or bandwidth to write it themselves. I take your concept, research, or existing material and craft a polished draft in your voice and style - always collaboratively, always confidentially.  Email me with details here - chelsea@thestorytrack.com

Formatting & Polishing

For when your story’s solid but the spacing isn’t. We’ll make sure your screenplay meets industry-standard formatting - clean, professional, and ready to send.

This includes correcting dialogue alignment, scene headings, and action spacing, plus a light proofread for typos or inconsistencies. Quick, affordable, and one less reason for a producer to quietly judge your margins. Ensures professional layout, spacing, and readability, grammar and spelling tidy-up.  VIEW RATES.

Pitch Your Work
& You

It’s one thing to write a great story - it’s another to explain it in a way that makes people lean in. This stage is about finding the words and confidence to talk about your project - clearly, calmly, and in a way that feels true to you. Whether you’re meeting a producer or just trying to sum up your story without spiralling, we’ll shape how you present it so the heart of it shines through.

Verbal Pitch Support

Woman working.jpeg

For when you want to feel calm, grounded, and ready to talk about your story out loud. We’ll work together to shape what you say, how you say it, and how to hold the room - whether that’s a quick elevator pitch, a formal presentation, or a live audience event. Sessions can be IRL or on Zoom - relaxed, supportive, and practical (like a rehearsal with someone who’s firmly on your team).  VIEW RATES.

Logline Rewrite

One sentence. The most important one you'll write about your project - and somehow also the hardest. Send me yours and I'll send back a version that actually makes people want to read the whole screenplay. Quick turnaround, no Zoom required. VIEW RATES.

Creative Mentorship

Sometimes the real story that needs work is yours. These sessions are for writers who want clarity, confidence, and a plan - whether that’s finishing your next project, shifting your focus, or figuring out how to actually call yourself a writer without cringing. Together, we’ll make sense of where you are, where you’re heading, and how to move forward without losing your love of the work.  VIEW RATES.

Key Note Speeches

I speak about story - whatever form, genre, or angle the world wants to throw at me. Whether it’s creativity, structure, theme, character, or the emotional madness of being a storyteller, I’ll tailor a talk to your audience. Expect insight, honesty, and a few laughs along the way. Courses, Training and Masterclasses

Right now, the headline act is The Next Page course - a four-week accountability program for screenwriters who want to finally finish their script (and not lose their minds in the process).

It includes daily videos, weekly check-ins, one-on-one Zoom sessions, and access to a private WhatsApp group where other writers are equally caffeinated and mildly panicked in solidarity. You’ll learn structure, character, theme, and how to build sustainable writing habits - all in a format that keeps you actually doing the work, not just thinking about it.
