Story Development Editing
No matter what stage - a synopsis, outline or treatment - I'll shape the story’s structure, pacing, tone, and character arcs to make sure it all holds together (and actually makes sense). Think of it as an architectural check before you start decorating - or rewriting. By the end, you’ll have a clear, confident foundation to build your next draft on. Story Assessments
You’ve written something - a treatment or maybe even a whole draft - but you can’t tell if it’s brilliant or broken. (Welcome to writing.) I’ll read your work with fresh eyes and give clear, practical notes on what’s landing, what’s wobbly, and what to tackle next. Story Brainstorming Workshops
Got ideas tumbling around but not sure how they fit together? This is where we wrangle them into something that actually makes sense - and sparks excitement again. We’ll brainstorm, build character arcs, map your story structure, and find what’s missing. It’s collaborative, energising, and often the thing that unsticks a story. Refine Your Draft
You’ve written the thing (congrats). This stage is all about tightening, polishing, and elevating your story so it reads like the version you imagined in your head. We’ll work through structure, dialogue, pacing, and flow - the satisfying kind of edit that turns “nearly there” into “nailed it.”
Script Editing
​For when the bones of the story need some reshaping. We’ll look at how each part connects - structure, pacing, dialogue, character arcs - to make sure your story builds tension and lands emotionally. It’s big-picture surgery, not cosmetic tweaks.
Edit notes + one Zoom (I write up what needs to change, you implement it) OR choose a Full rewrite within the script + two Zooms (I make the changes, you come away with a working draft)
Script Assessments
A full story check-up for when you’re too close to the work to see it clearly. I’ll read your project - whether it’s a synopsis, outline, treatment or full draft - and create a detailed written report that digs into plot, character, pacing, structure, dialogue, and theme. You’ll get clear, practical notes that show what’s working beautifully, what’s drifting, and where to focus next. Formatting & Polishing
For when your story’s solid but the spacing isn’t. We’ll make sure your screenplay meets industry-standard formatting - clean, professional, and ready to send.
This includes correcting dialogue alignment, scene headings, and action spacing, plus a light proofread for typos or inconsistencies. This stage is about finding the words and confidence to talk about your project - clearly, calmly, and in a way that feels true to you. Whether you’re meeting a producer or just trying to sum up your story without spiralling, we’ll shape how you present it so the heart of it shines through.
Verbal Pitch Support
For when you want to feel calm, grounded, and ready to talk about your story out loud. We’ll work together to shape what you say, how you say it, and how to hold the room - whether that’s a quick elevator pitch, a formal presentation, or a live audience event. Logline Rewrite
